Wedding Dresses at Target?
I was looking for a party dress for the holiday seaon on http://www.target.com/ and happened upon something that seemed crazy, but kind of great. Isaac Mizrahi for Target Bridal Collection! At first, I was skeptical and still am a little. I love going to the Isaac Mizrahi section at Target because I can get designer looks for not a lot of money. I did have one dress from Isaac's collection that had the zipper break the second time I tried to wear it. However, I have hope for this bridal line. If you can't afford a lot of money for a wedding gown (or think it's ridiculous to spend a ton on a gown), I think this would be the way to do it. The hardest part about wedding dresses is finding a simple, elegant design at an affordable price. These dresses have that-style at a VERY affordable price. I wonder about the quality and fabric, but if you're only going to wear it once, it may hold up for the day. Accessorize it right and no one will be the wiser. Spend money on good shoes, nice jewelry and hairpieces and you'll have an amazing look. Even if you don't want to buy a wedding gown from this line, they do have bridesmaid dresses that are stylish and classic. Finding a great style that's affordable in all your bridesmaids sizes can be next to impossible. Here you go! Watch the Issac Mizrahi video about the dresses if you want to see better quality pictures that show the dresses better.
With these dresses you can spend more on your photographer which is NOT an area to skimp on. How many times have I heard "I wish I knew about you when I got married"? Too many. It is so important to find a wedding photographer who knows what they're doing, is experienced, and has a great style. Whaddaya' know? That's me! Look how I turned this into a photography thing. I didn't mean to, it just happened!

Mother and Daughter
Marlene and Elsa-what fun we had shooting these photos! Lucky for me, there were still yellow leaves on the trees to add to the shots of these beautiful women. You may recognize Marlene from her wedding which is featured on my website. Marlene is moving to New York City soon to start her career in fashion so we had to get these mother/daughter shots before she left!

Executive Portraits
I had the pleasure of shooting executive portraits for the kind, fun, and easy to work with, Clark. He is a Mortgage Loan Advisor with Hancock Financial. He needed some portraits for magazine publication and advertising. We had a great time talking about travelling, family, and life in general. I think I wore him out running all over downtown. I was pretty worn out by the time we were done, too! If you need a great Mortgage Loan Advisor, let me know and I'll get you his info. Here are some of the shots from our marathon photo session.

Girls, girls, girls!
Recently, I took Erica, Aria, Soozee, Georgia, and Ella out amongst the fall leaves for a beautiful photo shoot. The leaves were vivid and the lighting, perfect. Oh, and Georgia had on the cutest shoes.

I loved all these girls, especially the littlest ones. It started to rain/snow on us at the very end. We finished just in time!

Nikki and Joe
Wow...Nikki and Joe. They are so good-looking! I had a great time shooting their wedding. Nikki is such a star and so sweet, genuinely hugging just about every person she saw. Joe is a handsome gentleman and sits back to let Nikki shine. You can tell he really loves her. She definitley loves him.
For their reception, everything had a medieval theme. It was at a "castle" and all 120 guests were dressed in medieval costume. It was a requirement to attend. Nikki's mom, Tammy and many many volunteers worked tirelessly for months, sewing the costumes for each and every guest. What a ton of work! I even got in on the action in a lovely olive and gold number, complete with corset. There were medieval style flags lining the entrance, a huge ice sculpture with a family crest, guests with swords, knights in shining armor, and damsels in distress. My favorite shots, however, were mostly of Nikki and Joe alone.
