Girls, girls, girls!

Recently, I took Erica, Aria, Soozee, Georgia, and Ella out amongst the fall leaves for a beautiful photo shoot. The leaves were vivid and the lighting, perfect. Oh, and Georgia had on the cutest shoes.
I loved all these girls, especially the littlest ones. It started to rain/snow on us at the very end. We finished just in time!

Nikki and Joe

Wow...Nikki and Joe. They are so good-looking! I had a great time shooting their wedding. Nikki is such a star and so sweet, genuinely hugging just about every person she saw. Joe is a handsome gentleman and sits back to let Nikki shine. You can tell he really loves her. She definitley loves him.

For their reception, everything had a medieval theme. It was at a "castle" and all 120 guests were dressed in medieval costume. It was a requirement to attend. Nikki's mom, Tammy and many many volunteers worked tirelessly for months, sewing the costumes for each and every guest. What a ton of work! I even got in on the action in a lovely olive and gold number, complete with corset. There were medieval style flags lining the entrance, a huge ice sculpture with a family crest, guests with swords, knights in shining armor, and damsels in distress. My favorite shots, however, were mostly of Nikki and Joe alone.

After much deliberation...

I've decided to change my name from Esprit Photography to
Melissa Kelsey Photography. I am my brand. I want people to know that when they hire Melissa Kelsey Photography, they're getting Melissa Kelsey herself!

So, take note of my new website address and be sure to check it out:

Simple, eh?

Long time no post

I know....I haven't blogged in a long time. I've been busy! I've been shooting weddings and adding lots of new images to my website, so I guess that's a good excuse.

I'm shooting Nikki and Joe's wedding tomorrow and I'll post some shots from that as soon as I can. I'm really looking forward to their wedding. For the reception, every guest is wearing a medieval costume, including me! I may have to forego the hoop skirt since I need to be moving around, catching all the action. I'll try to get a shot of myself in my costume somehow and post it here. I'll bet you just can't wait.

Blog ya' later (so dorky, but I couldn't resist)
