Winter Wedding

Nicole and Ryan got married on December 29th, right after Christmas in the Bountiful, Utah Temple. They were very easy to work with, very natural and as you can see, quite the attractive couple. As I was editing the photos, I thought, "Ryan kind of looks like Matt Damon" (the actor). What do you think?

Nicole looked beautiful and classic. However, she did come out of the Temple with grey, wool sport socks on under her strappy shoes! You can see them in the first photo if you look closely. She gets cold easily. We all laughed about it.

Wild Beauty

This is my sister, Meredith. She embodies the title of this blog post.

My husband, my dogs, and I went home for Christmas to Northern California and I knew I had to do a photo shoot with Meredith.

It was so wonderful to be back in my little forest right outside the door of my childhood home. It was really special for me to take these photographs of Meredith. I spent a lot of time with her preparing for this shoot, choosing outfits, styling her hair, doing her makeup. She is a natural model. I really didn't tell her anything, she just posed so naturally. She's been that way since she was a little girl.

At the end of the session, she just totally amazed me (you'll see). I love her.

My awesome booth at the Bridal Extravaganza!

I worked so hard on getting everything ready for my booth all week and up late the night before. I am very grateful to my husband, Todd who helped me immensely. It was so snowy at 7:30 a.m. when we were packing the car and driving to Grand America for the big Bridal Extravaganza. I was worried there wouldn't be a good turnout of brides at the show because of the weather, but it was packed!

The photos don't quite do my booth justice, but it looked so great (if I do say so myself) and I got tons of compliments on it. The bridal show was great, I talked to lots of brides, and even booked a wedding that day! (Thanks, Amanda-can't wait to shoot your wedding!)

Bridal Fair!

Hey! I'm busy busy busy getting ready for the bridal fair I'm doing tomorrow. It's the Bridal Extravaganza at Grand America. All brides planning a wedding should come! There are a lot of local wedding vendors, ideas, a fashion show with wedding fashions, etc. My booth is going to look so awesome. Everything is apple green and white, my favorite color combo. My booth is toward the back near the fashion show stage. Anyone who books tomorrow gets 15% off their wedding package! Come see me!
